A Grammy nominated country singer is heading to State College’s Bryce Jordan Center on his newest tour.

Walker Hayes’ second headliner tour will come to the BJC on April 27, 2023 with singer Ingrid Andress and songwriter Ray Fulcher, according to a press release. Hayes has released three studio albums and is known for his song “Fancy Like,” which reached number one on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs.

The 23-city Duck Buck Tour is named after a line from Hayes’ newest album “Country Stuff”: “I like shooting ducks and bucks.” The Duck Buck logo and name stuck, quickly becoming a symbol of his fanbase.

Hayes finished his first headliner tour “Glad You’re Here” in November after hitting 15 cities and starting in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

Andress is a four-time Grammy nominee and released her sophomore album “Good Person” in August. Her single “More Hearts Than Mine” made history in 2019 as the first debut single from a solo female artist to break the Top 20 on country radio, according to the release. Her first albumLady Like” received critical acclaim and set a record for highest streaming female country debut album.

Ray Fulcher is a country songwriter known for his work with Luke Combs, writing several songs including “When It Rains It Pours,” “Even Though I’m Leaving” and “Lovin’ on You.”

“I can’t wait to get back out on tour,” Hayes said in the release. “Headlining an arena tour for the first time this past year was a dream come true.”

Tickets for the general public go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday.

Other country hit makers stopping by the BJC next year include Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney and Thomas Rhett.
