Purr-fect timing: Enter your cat in our contest to find central PA’s cutest kitty

Eager to see your favorite feline featured in the Centre Daily Times? Now could be your chance.

After crowning the cutest dog in central Pennsylvania, we’re now searching to find the most adorable cat in the heart of the commonwealth. We need our readers to submit photos of their beloved cats alongside a brief description, including their name, breed, special traits and favorite activities.

Use this Google Form to share submissions before they close at 9 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8. You can access the form through the following URL: forms.gle/V8vMP2Vim5DRRUf5A. We reserve the right to close submissions early due to volume, and late submissions will not be accepted into our contest.

You can also email your submission to service journalism reporter Matt DiSanto at mdisanto@centredaily.com. Emailed submissions must include a photo of your cat, plus a short description that includes your cat’s name, breed, home city and any special traits.

Any reader can submit their dog for the contest, but voting is limited to Centre Daily Times subscribers. Once voting opens in mid-November, subscribers may vote as many times as they like using our digital polls.

Once the first round of voting concludes, the top finishers will move on in the contest before voting opens for a narrowed round of contenders. Votes will reset after each round. After crowning a champion, we’ll feature the winning cat in a news story at centredaily.com.
