Minor injuries reported in Brush Valley Road crash

A single-vehicle crash Friday on the 8000 block of Brush Valley Road resulted in minor injuries, according to Union County dispatchers. A van with six people in it rolled over, but dispatchers said they did not know how the accident happened.

The area of the accident is at the border of Union and Clinton counties, which dispatched first responders to the scene, and Centre County. The accident occurred at about 5:10 p.m. Friday.

A Facebook post by Centre County Fire Wire described the crash as a “mass casualty” incident, which was initially communicated by dispatchers.

Mass casualty accidents are severe, but do not necessarily indicate fatalities.
