Compost available at county authority

Compost is now available for purchase through the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority in College Township.

The compost is made locally and bagged at the State College Borough Compost Facility, an authority news release said. Bags are available for purchase at the scale house and are priced at $6 for a 40-pound bag.

All proceeds from sales benefit the authority’s Education Endowment Fund, the release said.
