Centre County dispatchers reported at about 1:20 p.m. that a plane crashed at University Park Airport.
Penn State spokeswoman Lisa Powers confirmed the report and said it was a small private plane that crash landed after it lost power. Firefighters continued to spray down the the scene about a half hour after the crash landing.
She said no one sustained injuries. She also said there was a small fire that was extinguished by firefighters.
The person flying the plane, according to dispatchers, was taken to the general aviation building.
