Clinton County man dies in single-vehicle crash in Centre County, coroner’s office says

A Clinton County man died Saturday in a single-vehicle crash along Interstate 99, the Centre County coroner’s office said.

Evan Vonada, 22, crashed about 4 a.m. Saturday into a median and down an embankment in Spring Township, Centre County Coroner Scott Sayers wrote in a statement.

Vonada died of head trauma, Sayers wrote. His death was ruled accidental.

It was not immediately clear what caused the crash, or if drugs or alcohol were involved. State police at Rockview are investigating the crash.
