Three people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on Pine Grove Mountain, Ferguson Township police said Thursday.

The police department’s initial investigation found Dennis McClure, 64, of Huntingdon County, was traveling at a high rate of speed about 4:16 p.m. Wednesday along state Route 26 when he struck another vehicle that attempted to enter the road.

Lisa Harris, 56, of Huntingdon County, and Lori Stidfole, 56, of Mifflin County, were both transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment.

McClure was also taken to MNMC, but was later flown by medical helicopter to Geisinger Medical Center in Montour County for treatment.

Harris, Stidfole and McClure are all in stable condition and are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

State Route 26 was closed in both directions for more than a half hour, police said. Officers were assisted by Centre LifeLink EMS and Alpha Fire Company.

The investigation is ongoing. Those with information about the crashed should call 800-479-0050 or 237-1172.
