The State College Area Roller Derby has a new home.

The group had been based at Penn Skates until the rink closed in October. Leaders of the nonprofit this week announced a move to C3 Sports in College Township. They praised the site’s space and amenities and said it is a central location for members.

“C3 Sports has been great to work with establishing a new relationship that we hope will help us continue to grow roller derby in the Centre Region,” Rachel Gaddis, president and Coaching Committee chair for the roller derby, said in a statement. The group thanked the community for suggesting possible new locations in Centre County.

The organization is also seeking new members. Skaters and skating officials can join the new class of recruits until April 4, while volunteers and non-skating officials can sign up on an ongoing basis.
