1 man in custody, another taken to hospital after shooting in Centre County, police say
One man is in custody and another was transported to a hospital Wednesday after a shooting in Centre County, a state police at Rockview spokesperson said.
Officers were dispatched Wednesday afternoon to a domestic dispute between two men along the 100 block of Capstone Lane in Worth Township, spokesperson Christopher Fox said.
The gunman shot the man in the leg and fled before being taken into custody, police wrote in a statement. Officers did not release additional information, including the severity of the man’s injuries. An investigation is ongoing.
East Mountain Road off U.S. Route 322 was expected to be closed for some time.
