The Lenten season has arrived, and a Friday fish fry is on the menu for many.

Here’s a look at some meals that will be offered in the region starting Friday.

Bellefonte

Bellefonte Catholic Daughters of the Americas and Knights of Columbus Council 1314

When: 4-7 p.m. or until sold out. Fridays, Feb. 24 through March 31

Where: St. John’s School auditorium, 116 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte

Details: Eat in or take out; no advanced tickets required or meals presold. $13 per meal; $6 for children.

What’s on the menu: Choice of one entree (lemon pepper cod, beer battered haddock, panko breaded fried shrimp); choice of three sides (macaroni and cheese, stewed tomatoes, french fries, coleslaw, applesauce); and choice of homemade dessert. Haluski and pierogies available a la carte

Nittany Catering

When: Preorder online or by or by emailing service@nittanycatering.com, or stop by in person from 4-7 pm. Fridays, Feb. 24 through March 31

Where: 3208 Benner Pike, Suite 111, Bellefonte

The Governors’ Pub

When: Every Friday during Lent

Where: 211 W. High St., Bellefonte

Details: Dine in or carry out. Available all day; hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

When: 4-6:30 p.m. Fridays, Feb. 24 through April 7

Where: 140 Curtin St., Osceola Mills

Details: Drive-thru and delivery only. Call 814-339-5046 for delivery. $12 per dinner.
