Section of Interstate 80 in Centre County reopens after crashes
Part of Interstate 80 in Centre County was closed for several hours Sunday afternoon after crashes on the highway.
All lanes of I-80 eastbound between the Snow Shoe and Milesburg exits were closed at about 12:50 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation. The road was back open by 4 p.m.
In a Facebook post, the Snow Shoe Fire Company wrote that the stretch was closed after two multi-vehicle crashes. The fire company wrote that there were no serious injuries.
