Interstate 99 in Centre County reopens after crash

A crash closed a portion of Interstate 99 in Centre County Thursday afternoon.

Interstate 99 northbound was closed between Exit 61 and Exit 62 on I-99 northbound due to a multi-vehicle crash, according to 511PA, Pennsylvania’s official travel information service.

A Facebook post by Centre County 911 stated first responders were working on the incident around milemarkers 57 and 58, and the road was shut down at the Bald Eagle exit.

The post also cautioned that the road was icy and to adjust travels.

The road reopened before 3:30 p.m.
