Portion of major highway in Centre County reopens after crash
A portion of Interstate 80 was shut down Tuesday afternoon in Centre County after a truck crashed.
A Pennsylvania Department of Transportation traffic camera showed a truck on its side about 12:40 p.m. Tuesday in the westbound lanes near the Jacksonville Road exit. Heavy traffic was redirected off the exit.
Centre County 911 posted on Facebook that the westbound lanes would be shut down for an “extended time.” It had opened by 2:45 p.m. but Exit 163 remained closed while the truck was removed.
