The Centre County Council for Human Services is a highly valued cooperative organization of nonprofits, businesses and individuals. Membership in this nonprofit allows many Centre County human service organizations to share important announcements and events through monthly newsletters, give presentations at monthly luncheons, apply for the Robert Ott Seed Grant, attend discounted professional education programs, and network with other organizations.

We welcome any organization and community-minded individual who is interested in providing a helping hand to our community to join. Notable events that CCCHS hosts include the annual Rose Cologne Dinner, where organizations recognize an extraordinary volunteer, and the annual “Lunch with the Legislators,” where members pose questions to local representatives about current issues facing Centre County.

In 2024, over 80 organizations were members of the Centre County Council for Human Services. The cost for an organizational membership is $70, while an individual membership is $20 for the current calendar year.

Additionally, council members are invited to write articles for a Helping Hands column as a collaborative effort with the Centre Daily Times to provide our community with information on the available human services.

Membership meetings are typically held on the first Wednesday of the month at Calvary Church in Boalsburg. Our next meeting will be at noon on Wednesday, March 5. We encourage interested organizations or individuals to email ccchs2@gmail.com for more information.

Visit theccchs.org for the membership application. Together we can make a difference.
