Below, a few former families share their thoughts:
PFP was a large influence on our family. In the 1970s, while my son attended the school, I volunteered in other classrooms. After my son went into kindergarten, I coordinated kitchen volunteers. I also worked in the office for a semester. There were so many wonderful opportunities offered: the parent meetings with valuable information, nutritious meals, and free clothing. -Diana
I have fond memories of sharing with the other parents in the parenting classes once a week. -Erica
I liked everything: the shirts, the atmosphere, the Tuesday morning parent meeting, and the staff. I was just a fan. -Jim
Relocating from Florida to Pennsylvania brought significant adjustments for our family. Fortunately, PFP significantly eased this process for the youngest two. The teachers were exceptionally nurturing and attuned to the needs of our kids, fostering strong friendships and healthy relationships. The staff and teachers at PFP offered excellent family support in a consistently welcoming atmosphere. Our children are a testament to their exceptional program. -Dion
I had the privilege of being a parent, then an employee of PFP. As a parent, I really enjoyed the weekly parent meetings with tips about parenting, community help, and just having other parents to talk to and bounce things off of. As an employee, I felt appreciated and enjoyed having the summers off with my kiddos and being able to be home in the afternoons to be there for the bus and make dinner. - Rachel
We were so grateful to have a preschool with no fee involved where my children could learn, be safe, and be loved. We appreciated the preschool’s help once when we had problems paying our electric bill. The school also had a clothing room where we could get free clothes. -Crystal
I liked a lot about PFP. Before Christmas break, our son got a box with hats, gloves, books, and a toy that he loved. We got a box of food for the Christmas meal, and it helped us to have a nice meal. - Rob
My son has attended PFP for the past 3 years. PFP works hard to provide a fun, loving, and welcoming environment for learning. The school has a strong focus on the overall well-being of the families, providing them with plenty of resources and support. My son has created many wonderful memories and is now ready to begin his kindergarten journey. - Skylynn
