Black Friday shoppers line up as early as Wednesday

Lounging in pajama pants and holding a book, Chris Shogren sat outside of the State College Best Buy on North Atherton Street eagerly waiting for the Black Friday deals. Shogren and several others camped outside the store as early as Wednesday evening for the 5 p.m. opening on Thursday.

Best Buy assistant manager Jamil Conesa stood outside watching the line grow and was excited for the doors to open. Top sales items included big TVs, game bundles and digital camera bundles.
