A United Way Women’s Leadership Group grant program is making funding available to nonprofit organizations that provide “long-term impact, significant outcomes and a collaborative approach to program services.”
The WLG is accepting grants from Centre County 501(c)(3) organizations that are focused on improving the lives of women and children in the county, a United Way news release said. Grants may be made up to $12,000 for the current cycle.
Funding can be used as seed money for future programs to purchase equipment or expand programming, the release said. Applications can be obtained by calling 238-8283 and must be submitted electronically by May 2.
