Inaugural Bald Eagle Area homecoming parade Thursday

A first-time Bald Eagle Area homecoming parade Thursday will wind through Milesburg.

The route could cause some traffic delays.

According to organizers, the parade will line up at 4:30 p.m. at the Frito-Lay distribution center on Old Route 220 in Milesburg.

The parade will step off at 6 p.m., tracing a path through town to the Little League complex on Old Curtin Road.

More than 40 entries are expected in the event, which will be followed by a bonfire at the Little League fields.
