Minor injuries reported after crash that involved Bald Eagle Area School District bus

Four people avoided serious injury Tuesday in a rush-hour crash that involved a Bald Eagle Area School District bus, state police at Rockview wrote.

No students were on the bus during the crash, district Superintendent Scott Graham said.

Tabatha Stover, 33, rear-ended a Howard woman and her teenage passenger about 7:36 a.m. Tuesday while driving southbound near the intersection of Runville Road and Grand Slam Drive, police wrote.

Her 2020 Buick Envision continued south and crashed head-on into a school bus that was stopped in the northbound lane, police wrote.

Stover, of Bellefonte, was treated for minor injuries. The teenager was treated for a possible injury. No other injuries were reported.

Stover was cited for following too closely, police wrote.

Pleasant Gap EMS, the Milesburg fire department and Eagle Towing also responded.
