Residents in Worth Township will see an impact on traffic in the coming days as bridge construction is scheduled to begin April 11.
The bridge crossing Sunnyside Hollow Run along South Eagle Valley Road will be replaced over the summer and into fall, a state Department of Transportation news release said. The bridge is the first of 10 scheduled for replacement in the county as part of the Rapid Bridge Replacement project across the state.
Once construction begins, PennDOT said, traffic will be restricted to one lane alternating in each direction controlled by temporary signals. These restrictions are expected to be in place until October.
