Route 64 closed for several hours after Sunday evening crash in Walker Township
State Route 64 was closed for several hours between Zion Back Road and Hecla Road after a vehicle crash with injuries Sunday.
According to the Centre County Emergency Alerts Facebook page, a tractor-trailer crashed into a telephone pole about 8 p.m. Sunday on the 800 block of Nittany Valley Drive in Walker Township. A helicopter was requested to the scene.
By 2 a.m. Monday, the road had reopened, according to 511PA.
Walker Township, Pleasant Gap, Howard, Logan and Undine fire companies responded to the crash.
