Interstate 80 in Centre County reopens after rush hour crash
Part of Interstate 80 in Centre County was closed during rush hour Thursday after a multi-vehicle crash.
All lanes of I-80 westbound were closed between Exit 173 (Lamar) and Exit 163 (Jacksonville/Howard) just after 5 p.m., according to the state Department of Transportation. By 8:45 p.m., the road was back open, with PennDOT noting residual delays.
Howard Fire Company and Bellefonte Fire Police were among those called to the Marion Township crash that involved two tractor-trailers, according to dispatch reports.
