Bellefonte police ask public for help finding runaway teen brothers

Bellefonte police are asking the public for help locating two teenage brothers who were last seen Monday afternoon.

The Bellefonte Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating two teenage boys they say were last seen Monday afternoon.

Ryan Shaffer, 17, and his brother Wyatt Shaffer, 13, were described as runaways in a Facebook post from Bellefonte police. The brothers were last seen on the 100 block of East High Street at 12:45 p.m. Monday, police wrote in the post.

They are believed to be traveling in a black Mercedes sedan with a Pennsylvania plate number MXN1708.

Anyone with information on the brothers’ whereabouts is asked to contact Bellefonte police at 1-800-479-0050.
