Snappy’s has moved out of the Centre Hall location, but what will replace it?
Social media has been abuzz with rumors of what could move into the former Snappy’s site in Centre Hall, but so far no official plans have been submitted.
Snappy’s, which was located at 2892 Earlystown Road, Centre Hall for more than 25 years, closed at the end of September. In a statement, the company said it closed due to “circumstances beyond our control.”
The gas pumps and signage have been removed from the former gas station and convenience store as of Thursday, but what will come next is still up in the air.
There haven’t been any land development plans or zoning applications submitted to Potter Township, according to the township.
When plans are received, they first will be reviewed by the Potter Township planning commission, then the board of supervisors. Agendas for the meetings are available on the township website, pottertownship.org.
