Country, Christian music & rock and roll: Grange Fair announces grandstand lineup
It may currently be cold and snowy in central Pennsylvania, but the Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair reminded us that warmer and better days are ahead by announcing the 2026 grandstand entertainment lineup.
The Grange Fair, set for Aug. 21-29 at the Grange Park, 149 Homan Lane, Centre Hall, turns into a home-away-from-home for thousands of people every year. People move into their tents and RVs for the week and enjoy time with family and friends, concession stand food, agriculture, rides and games, truck pulls and more.
One of the highlights of the fair is the grandstand entertainment, which is free with the cost of admission. Almost every night of the fair at 8 p.m. a new entertainer performs.
This year’s lineup includes country artists, Christian music and a vintage rock and roll band.
Collin Raye will kick off the fair as the first grandstand entertainer on Aug. 21. A country artist, Raye originally was a member of the band The Wrays in the mid-1980s, and debuted as a solo artist in 1991. His album, “All I Can Be,” had his first No. 1 hit, “Love, Me.” From there, he had several hits throughout the ‘90s into 2000, including “All I Can Be (Is a Sweet Memory),” “That’s my Story,” “Not That Different, “One Boy, One Girl,” and “I Think About You.” His most recent work is his Americana album “Scars,” which came out in 2020.
John Foster, a country singer-songwriter and runner-up on season 23 of “American Idol,” will perform at the grandstand on Aug. 22. After “American Idol,” he made his Grand Ole Opry debut and had multiple performances there. The 19-year-old released his album, “Little Goes A Long Way” last year, which highlights his old-school country vibe.
Shenandoah, an American country band formed in the 1980s will be the grandstand performer on Aug. 24. The group has released nine albums and 26 singles charted on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. They’ve had several No. 1 hits, including “The Church on Cumberland Road,” “Sunday in the South,” “Two Dozen Roses,” and “Next to You, Next to Me.” In 2020 the band released “Every Road,” a collaborative album with artists like Luke Bryan and Carly Pearce.
GloryWay will be at the fair Aug. 25. Known for their “powerful harmonies and their inspiring music,” their website states they show audiences the love of God each night by bringing together laughter, encouragement and ministry. The Christian vocal group has albums including “God Loves Them All,” “Inspiration and Praise” and a Christmas CD.
Emily Ann Roberts, a country singer and songwriter, will perform at the grandstand Aug. 26. She was a contestant on “The Voice” as a member of Blake Shelton’s team and was a finalist in season nine — all before graduating from high school. She released her debut album “Can’t Hide Country” in 2023, which showcases her “unique blend of traditional country and bluegrass roots,” according to her website. She released “Memory Lane” in 2025 and her latest single, “Whipped” was just released last month.
Invasion is scheduled to play Aug. 27. It’s described as a rock band on Grange Fair’s Facebook post about the lineup, but additional information about the band was not available.
Leanna Crawford will take the grandstand on Aug. 28. A contemporary Christian music singer-songwriter, Crawford released her first full length album in 2024. The album, “Still Waters,” includes songs “Still Waters (Psalm 23) and “Honest.” She recently released a new single, “Water into Wine” with Seph Schlueter.
Richie & the High Street Rockers will be the last grandstand performance for 2026, set for Aug. 29. The vintage rock ‘n’ roll band performs originals and covers from the 1950s and early 1960s, according to their website, including Little Richard, Elvis, Eddie Cochran, Dion, Buddy Holly and the Everly Brothers. The group released their debut album last year, “Welcome to High Street.”
