Woman struck by vehicle in Weis parking lot

A Morrisdale woman was injured Oct. 19 when she was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Philipsburg Weis Markets.

Police say the Ford Expedition was out of gear, drifted backward and struck the rear of a 2008 Jeep Liberty, as well as a pedestrian, 51-year-old Susan Fye-MacGuire.

Fye-MacGuire was taken to Mount Nittany Medical Center by Moshannon Valley EMS for her injuries.

Her condition is unknown.
