Section of U.S. Route 322 reopens after Clearfield County crash

A section of U.S. Route 322 in Clearfield County experienced traffic delays Thursday afternoon due to a crash.
A crash in the 6500 block of Philipsburg Bigler Highway (Route 322) in Boggs Township occurred around 2:30 p.m. Thursday. There was a lane closed between Baughman Road and Wallaceton Road, according to 511PA, Pennsylvania’s official travel information service.
By 4:15 p.m., lanes had reopened, 511PA’s map showed.
In a Facebook post, the Hope Fire Company out of Philipsburg said responding units reported a “significant backlog in the area” and to expect delays.
“Initial dispatch advised of multiple vehicles involved,” the post states, adding that there were injuries reported.
