Suspicious van reported near State College bus stop, police say

Police are investigating a report of a suspicious van near a State College bus stop.

According to a release, State College police received a call from a parent whose middle school-aged child said a white van with rear windows and no markings was driving slowly near South Corl Street between 7:35-7:50 a.m. on Monday. The driver of the van was described as male and wearing a dark hoodie, police said.

The driver of the car did not attempt to contact the child, but the child said that the van might have been following them.

The driver’s race and age are unknown.
