Country star Chris Stapleton bringing his ‘All-American’ tour to State College

The Bryce Jordan Center will host Chris Stapleton as he makes his first-ever visit to Happy Valley.

On Wednesday, the BJC announced that the country singer and his “All-American Road Show” tour will make its way to State College on Oct. 8. The Grammy, ACM, CMA, Billboard and CMT award-winner will be joined by the Marcus King Band and Yola.

Ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. on Feb. 7. On the night of the performance, doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Stapleton is best known for the hit singles, “Tennessee Whiskey,” “Parachute,” “Broken Halos” and “Fire Away.” In June, the performer will be the subject of a new exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The exhibition follows a series of landmark years for Stapleton, following the release of his breakthrough debut album “Traveller,” which was selected the No. 1 country album of the decade by Billboard.
