Gov. Tom Wolf’s redistricting council to hold listening session in Centre County
A listening session with members of Governor Tom Wolf’s Pennsylvania Redistricting Advisory Council will be held in Centre County on Monday.
The listening sessions, which aim to gather public feedback on congressional redistricting, are being held across the commonwealth. Monday’s session will be held at 11 a.m. in the HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State’s campus.
Those interested in attending should email the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs at OIARSVP@pa.gov to RSVP.
Pennsylvanians are also encouraged to visit the administration’s redistricting website to review draft Redistricting Principles developed by the advisory council, submit proposed maps, outline communities of interest and submit comments to help shape the process that happens once every decade.
Every 10 years, Pennsylvania redraws its state and federal districts using updated census information.
