A winning lottery ticket for $50,000 was sold at Sheetz in Centre County. Is it yours?
Someone in Centre County may be holding a winning $50,000 ticket, the Pennsylvania Lottery said Monday.
The ticket was chosen in the first weekly drawing as part of the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle. The raffle includes eight weekly drawings that award two $50,000 prizes and leads up to the million-dollar drawing Jan. 7.
The winning Centre County ticket was sold at Sheetz, 1781 N. Atherton St., State College. A second winning ticket was sold at the Sheetz at 1500 Graham Ave. in Windber. Both were randomly drawn from more than 48,000 Millionaire Raffle tickets sold Nov. 8-14, the Lottery said.
The person who bought the winning Centre County ticket — No. 00036978 — should make an appointment to claim the $50,000 prize in person at a Pennsylvania Lottery office. (The winning ticket sold in Windber is No. 00033733.)
The ticket could be an even bigger winner, as it is still eligible to win the drawing in January.
