Please join us for the fourth installment of the Community Conversations Series, brought to you by the Borough of State College and Community Conferencing!

This panel series is meant to bring the community together to learn, ask questions and brainstorm action and change on topics pertinent to the State College community.

The title of our upcoming event is: “A Town & Gown Conversation on Intersectionality: Race, Gender, and Economic Justice.” Our three prior events addressed the topics of: Policing and Race, Housing Equity and the State of the LGBT+ Community in 2023. Our hope is that this final event in this year’s series will address the intersections of all the prior topics.

Important dates and event locations:

Panel event: Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2023 6-8 p.m. at the Steimer Auditorium inside the Forest Resource Building, (located behind East Parking Deck and close to the Creamery on Penn State’s Campus). The East Deck address is 1965 Bigler Road, State College.

Breakout session/restorative circle: Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023 5-7 p.m. at The Municipal Building Community Room (Room 201), 243 S. Allen St., State College.

To view panelist’s bios, visit the borough events page: statecollegepa.civilspace.io/en/projects/community-conversations.
