Boil water notice lifted in Boalsburg after water main break in Harris Township
The boil water notice that impacted several streets in Boalsburg has been lifted as of Friday afternoon, the State College Borough Water Authority posted on its website.
The streets impacted by the boil water notice were South Church Street, Chambers Ally (west of Church Street), Hazel Street, Woodmont Street, East and West Crestview Avenue, and Miller Lane, according to the website notice.
Authority personnel hung door tags on the houses that were impacted, the website states.
Customers who received the boil water notice were advised not to drink the water without boiling it first.
The boil water notice had been in place since Wednesday.
