April 18 update: Delhi Junction will open its doors on April 22, the owner told the Centre Daily Times.

A new Indian restaurant is set to soon open in downtown State College.

Delhi Junction created two social media accounts earlier this month for the restaurant, whose website and brick-and-mortar location both tease that it’s opening soon. Delhi Junction is taking over the former location of College Pizza and Dosa Express, at 128 Locust Lane.

Limited information is available at this early point. No menu is yet available online, although owner Resham Dadra said those details would be shared closer to the opening date.

There is also no firm opening date, but Dadra told the CDT in an email that it would be in a “few weeks.”

Dadra first announced his plans publicly on March 5, when Delhi Junction’s Facebook and Instagram pages were first created. Two “Coming Soon” signs also now hang in the windows of the restaurant, located beneath the College Mart on Locust Lane.

One of Delhi Junction’s most recent social media posts uses the tagline, “Taste the tradition, love the flavor: Your passage to Indian gastronomy with us.”

The restaurant’s website can be found at delhijunction.org.
