Alpha Fire Company celebrated its 125th anniversary on Saturday with a festival in downtown State College.

Alpha Fire Company celebrated 125 years of serving Centre County on Saturday with a festival in downtown State College.
The event, held on South Allen Street, included fire safety demonstrations, fire truck bucket rides, antique fire engines, historic Alpha Fire Company memorabilia, food trucks, live music and more.
The Alpha Fire Company is an all-volunteer company that serves the Centre Region, including the Borough of State College, Ferguson, Patton, and College townships, as well as the Penn State University Park campus and portions of Benner Township.
