KISS to rock the BJC in August

Get your makeup and vintage rock shirts ready now — KISS will perform in State College in August, the Bryce Jordan Center announced Friday morning.

The band will visit more than 35 cities across the nation during the “Freedom to Rock” tour, which kicks off in July. The rockers will play the BJC on Aug. 30.

KISS has visited the BJC several times before, making its last stop there in 2000. The Dead Daisies will open for KISS in State College, according to a news release.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 15 at the BJC, Eisenhower Auditorium, Penn State Downtown Theatre Center, online at ticketmaster.com or by phone at 800-745-3000.
