Charges pending against man after reported fight

Simple assault charges are pending against an unnamed man after he allegedly attacked two people during a gathering early Saturday morning at a residence on South Garner Street.

State College police said the man punched one man causing a laceration to the victim’s nose, and then tackled another man, injuring the second victim’s right knee.

Sgt. Todd Scholton said police are planning to charge the man with simple assault.
