Moshannon man faces felony firearms charge
A Burnside Township man is facing felony firearms charges.
According to a state police news release, William Tipton Jr., 23, of Moshannon, was found in possession of a .22-caliber rifle Monday. Tipton is not allowed to possess a firearm due to being on parole, police said.
The charge is a second-degree felony, according to court documents. The case is awaiting a preliminary arraignment.
