Clinton County juvenile to face assault charges

A Jersey Shore juvenile was charged after allegedly resisting arrest at the state police station in Lamar, Clinton County.

According to a state police news release, at about 1:20 p.m. Saturday, the 17-year-old allegedly resisted arrest by attempting to strike a trooper and spitting blood and saliva in the trooper’s face.

The juvenile was taken to a detention center, police said.
