State College police investigating alleged sexual assault

State College police are investigating a report of a sexual assault.

Sgt. Todd Scholton said a female contacted police early Saturday morning about an assault that allegedly happened about two weeks ago at a residence that was not hers.

Police said they believe the woman is a Penn State student, and didn’t know the identity of her alleged attacker.
