Man allegedly takes more than $4,000 from grandmother

State police at Lamar are investigating an alleged theft involving a grandmother and grandson.

The grandmother, a Beech Creek resident, reported that her grandson transferred various amounts of money from her bank account to his own from August 2016 through February. The transfers were allegedly made online.

A total of about $4,084 was transferred, police said.
