Milesburg woman reportedly scammed

State police at Rockview are reporting a theft by deception in Milesburg.

According to police, a 29-year-old Milesburg woman sent two MoneyGram orders out of state between April 29 and May 11 in the amount of $1,200. The funds were reportedly for a house.

It was later determined to be a fictitious ad, police said.
