Police investigating additional reports of vehicle break-ins in Lemont
State College police are investing another string of vehicle break-ins in Lemont that allegedly happened overnight Friday into Saturday.
Sgt. Chris Hill said about 20 vehicles were unlawfully entered in the area of Clover Road and Hillview Avenue.
Primarily miscellaneous items were taken, such as loose change, Hill said.
“Every single vehicle was unlocked, so we encouraged people to lock their doors,” he said.
Police also reported that 17 vehicles were broken into last weekend in Lemont on Norle Street, Claremont Avenue and Elizabeth Road.
Hill said police have processed finger prints and are “looking for a break.”
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact police at 234-7150.
