State College police use Taser on reportedly belligerent man
State College police used a Taser gun on a man early Saturday morning after he allegedly became belligerent with officers.
State College police Sgt. Chris Hill said officers found the intoxicated and unconscious man in the stairway of a building at 200 Calder Way.
While being transported to Mount Nittany Medical Center for evaluation, the man reportedly became combative with police, forcing officers to use a Taser gun on him, Hill said.
The man could face public drunkenness and resisting arrest charges, Hill said.
