Two men sought in State College sticker mischief

State College police are seeking two males in connection with stickers reportedly placed throughout the borough.

According to a news release, the two men have posted the large stickers on public and private property throughout State College. The two were captured on video surveillance posting stickers on the evening of June 28, but more stickers have been found since then.

The stickers promote the American Student Front — an anti-government/fascism organization, police said, and have been placed on poles, street signs and building sides. Some stickers measure up to 8-by-10 inches, and most have already been removed.

The males are described as college-aged and white, police said. The first had dark hair and a medium build, while the second has a slender build and appeared to have light brown hair under a baseball cap.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact State College police at 234-7150 or submit an anonymous tip through the police website.
