Man allegedly threw table from apartment, struck vehicle
A Bloomsburg man faces a mischief charge after allegedly hitting a car with a table.
According to State College police, an officer was called on July 16 after the building manager found broken glass at the rear of the building. The manager reported a table had been thrown from a seventh-floor apartment and struck a car.
The occupants of the apartment identified the alleged thrower as Aaron J. Winkleblech, 20, police said, who reportedly admitted to hitting the car but denied breaking the window.
Police said the car sustained a broken rear window, dents, scratches and glass particles on the interior. The damages totaled about $1,530. Winkleblech was charged Monday with one misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.
