State College man faces felony burglary, trespassing charges

A State College man faces felony charges after allegedly entering a Centre Hall home.

According to state police at Rockview, a Centre Hall resident on Friday reported she feared that her soon-to-be ex-husband was in her residence. The responding trooper reported seeing a vehicle registered to Christopher J. Musser, 32, outside the residence, and later observing Musser coming from the residence and driving away.

The resident said Musser had sent her a photograph of a letter in her home, police said. After looking through her home, she reported it missing.

Musser was taken into custody, police said, and reportedly admitted to being in the house and taking the letter.

He was arraigned and charged with two felony counts of burglary and criminal trespassing and two misdemeanor counts of harassment and theft. Straight bail was set at $10,000 and a preliminary hearing is set for Wednesday.
