Woman entered garage to go to bathroom, police say
A woman faces felony charges after allegedly attempting to use a garage as a bathroom.
State police at Philipsburg responded to a call Oct. 31 along the 700 block of East Spruce Street in Philipsburg, police said, where a resident reported finding Elaina M. Orner, 29, in the garage attached to his residence. The property is reportedly surrounded by a fence.
The resident reported hearing noises in the garage, police said, and discovered Orner attempting to urinate on the floor. The resident reportedly stated she had entered through the side door or the overhead garage door, both of which were unlocked.
Orner was charged with two felony counts of burglary and criminal trespassing and two summary counts of defiant trespassing and failure to notify a change of address, court documents said. She was released on $10,000 unsecured bail and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
