State police at Huntingdon are investigating a homicide and suicide incident.
The shootings occurred at about 7:10 p.m. Monday at 2303 Sawdust Drive in Carbon Township.
Police said in a release that they forced entry into the home and found a man and woman dead. Investigators said they discovered Mark Lemin, 33, had shot and killed his girlfriend Kayla Ruby, 20, before shooting himself. The shootings occurred before police arrived on scene.
Police said Lemin and Ruby lived at the residence together. Police have not released details on how they were alerted to an incident at the home or what led to the shootings.

State police Troop G forensics unit is leading the investigation, and the scene has been processed.
The incident is still being investigated, according to police.
Lemin has not faced charges in Huntingdon or surrounding counties, according to state records.
