Money stolen in Belle Market burglary

State police at Lamar are investigating a burglary at Belle Market that resulted in $150 being stolen from the business between Wednesday night and Saturday morning, according to a news release.

An unknown person or party entered the business by forcing open the rear door to the market. Once inside, the person or group stole the money from the cash register and fled the scene in an unknown direction by an unknown means, according to police.
